Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Team
 
Position Overview
 
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a key member of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games finance team. It’s a full time, salaried role, based at the Marietta Corporate support center.
 
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments.  All positions are responsible for following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality, professionalism and guest satisfaction.
 
Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Coupa platform extensively to process incoming invoices for approval
  • Work closely with the Andretti construction team to ensure invoices and progress payments are tracked and paid in a timely manner.
  • Track construction costs vs budget
  • Assist the CFO in processing payment applications to finance partners.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Assist in month end closing, including reconciling across multiple systems.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other finance/accounting projects as needed
  • Work as a team player in meeting the organizations business needs and communicating & assisting other departments when needed
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS
 
Required:
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 Years Accounts Payable experience
  • 3-Way matching experience
  • Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data entry and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, self-starter, good communication skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with Coupa platform
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central
