Andretti Karting and Games is growing! We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager at the Marietta Corporate Office

Position Overview

Andretti's is growing and we want you to be a part of it all! Our operations are expanding from 7 units to 10 + in the next two years and we need to grow our payroll department to support our amazing employees!

This is a full time salaried position based in the Marietta office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing system to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing/approving/entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, garnishments, and other miscellaneous deductions, and job title and department/division/location changes and transfers.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitates audits by assisting with the compilation of records and documentation.
  • Implements updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and interacting with HR.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, or year-end calculations and reporting.
  • Provides payroll information to employees by responding to queries.

We currently have seven locations in Florida, Texas, Georgia & Arizona, and Corporate Support offices in Orlando and Atlanta.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with payroll software
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age

Preferred and great to have:

  • Experience with processing multi-faceted payrolls that include 1500+ Hourly, Salary, Part Time and Full Time employees
  • Paycor and Center Edge platform experience a big plus
  • Experience with Family Entertainment Center or Hospitality business operations
  • Organizational skills to handle/process multiple projects/tasks
  • Excellent EXCEL skills with advanced knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments independently
