Employee Security Attendant
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Employee Security Attendant to join the team at our San Antonio location
The Employee Reception Attendant or Safety Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day access control and monitoring of the facility perimeter and operating areas, including monitoring deliveries of orders and packages, checking employee bags and ensuring compliance with possible Andretti Covid screening protocols. They will be actively ensuring all safety and security measures are in place and followed as well as politely assisting and guiding all vendors, employees and guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating and receiving of deliveries (food & beverage, UPS, FedEx, postal)
- Checking in and out employee personal bags
- Ongoing monitoring of facility video surveillance system
- Ensure correct clocking in and out of hourly employees
- Ongoing validation of proper employee uniform upon check in
- Possible maintaining of Covid protocol employee entry procedures
- Answering employee calls and communication of any issues to the management team
- Rapid and specific communication with the management team of any observed issues with perimeter security

Required Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
- Be able to work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends
- Pass a background check and illegal drug screening
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic First Aid certification, CPR and advanced First Aid certifications a plus
- Some experience in a safety or security role with a large facility a plus

- Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional moving of packages up to 50lbs
- The work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
- Be able to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times
