Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Grill Support attendant to join our team at The Colony location

  • $16 per hour plus tips!

POSITION SUMMARY

An Andretti Grill Support staff attendant is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations within our Andretti Grill, all while providing a fun and exciting dining atmosphere. This position is an all-around support person who takes care of guests and maintains cleanliness and organization in the dining area and the kitchen. They will be responsible for the selling and delivery of food items as well as cleaning and resetting of all tables. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Anticipates and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Greets Guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding Guest expectations.
  • Prepare standard drinks, pours wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste.
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operates the Point of Sale system with ease.
  • Assist with stocking plates, napkins, silverware, glasses etc and performing side work.
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables.
  • Properly disposes of broken glassware.
  • Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance to local health regulations.
  • Sufficiently handles and accurately counts money.
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol.
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage service.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assists with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintains a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Follows proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
  • Displays excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Shows an eagerness to learn new skills.

Skills & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday. 
  • Work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends.

  • Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
  • Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.

  • The work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
