Recruiting and Training Coordinator
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Recruiting and Training Coordinator to join our team at our NEW location opening in Glendale, AZ!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Andretti Team Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources, Training, Payroll departments, and the Unit General Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the hourly team members. This position is responsible for overseeing the onboarding process and ensuring that new hires receive thorough training. The Team Coordinator upholds AIKG’s quality and ethical standards, embodying the Andretti brand.
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Unit General Manager and the Director of Human Resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Utilize Application Tracking System and other programs to track, maintain and process candidates in the hiring process.
- Use appropriate and detailed screening criteria to locate a high volume of quality, qualified candidates.
- Attend and locate any career hiring fairs and hiring boards to recruit quality candidates.
- Review resumes and online job applications checking for suitable skills, experience and availability.
- Assist Human Resources with job posting to external websites and social media.
- Prepare and review new hire packets ensuring full completion.
- Assist Human Resource Manager and Training Manager with the distribution of all orientation and training material.
- Assist Department Managers in staffing idea and retention goals.
- Knowledge of payroll aspects such as reading a paystub, deductions, arrears and direct deposits.
- Follow all new hires throughout the training process and initial 90 days of employment.
- Engage in open communication with trainees regarding training and learned material.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Training Team. The support may include preparing appointments and creating agenda

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred and great to have
- Experience in Recruiting and utilizing an Applicant Tracking System
- Knowledge in Training & Development, Human Resources, and Payroll
- Strong training and development background
- Commitment to providing excellent guest service and training development
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
- Effective presentation skills and able to answer to questions from team of managers, members, guests and public
- Ability to work individually unsupervised and in a team environment
- Well-built skills in organization, prioritization, and time management
- Experience in Retail, food service or hospitality industry a plus
